Vietnamese style Chicken & Rice Vermicelli Salad Kit: this kit has chicken breasts, which you poach and shred, rice vermicelli noodles, which cook in two minutes, crunchy vegetables like napa cabbage, carrots, and cucumbers, fresh herbs, nuoc cham, and salted peanuts. Both of these make awesome leftovers, so perhaps order extra? Not a sales ploy, swear- you may end up wishing you had more.
Our knife + fork salad this week: Italian Antipasto Salad with Bocconcini & Spicy Green Olives. This is like a charcuterie board in salad format. Or an Italian sub in salad format. Whatever- it's delicious. Fresh marble-sized Lioni Mozzarella, Castelvetrano Olives, sweet n' hot Peppadew Peppers, Sliced Smoking Goose Capicola, baby Icebery, and in keeping with the spirit of the "oil and vinegar" every New Jersey deli of my youth had, we're making a Red Wine & Oregano Vinaigrette.
Finally, we're featuring our Scituate Haddock Fish Taco Kit this week. The best way to have these is fresh, and the freshest way to have them, short of a street cart, is at home, where the crunchy fish and warm tortillas can be eaten at their peak. No need to overcomplicate things: here crispy fish, some bright and crunchy red cabbage slaw, and a little crema accentuate without overwhelming the beauty of this fresh local fish.
New batch of Native strawberries coming from Connecticut rather than Deleware this week (and we anticipate them being sweeter and more concentrated in flavor), more local asparagus, snap peas, and so much more- be sure to peruse our full catalog.
